Plumbhartt Heating and Plumbing Ltd. is a family-owned company serving the Metro Vancouver area, providing exceptional plumbing and heating services. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on residential and commercial projects. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, venting systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
  • Complete rough-ins, stack work, finishing, drain cleaning, and pipe repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in compliance with the BC Plumbing Code.
  • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintain safe work practices on job sites.
  • Collaborate with management to report job status, material needs, and any unforeseen issues.
  • Maintain detailed job records, notes, and upload photos using Jobber software.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, explaining work completed and answering questions.
  • Keep job sites clean and organized; follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Report any accidents or vehicle damages promptly and complete required documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Journeyman Plumber Certification (preferred) with solid knowledge of BC Plumbing Code
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and field service software (e.g., Jobber) to manage job details.
  • Basic computer literacy for note-taking, photo uploads, scheduling, and time tracking.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
  • Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
